Robert Earl Menefee, passed peacefully at home Sunday evening 5/10/2015. Born 4/14/26 and raised in Fort Worth, TX, attending TCU ultimately graduating from ASU, Tempe, AZ. He was a devout husband and father, member of First Southern Baptist Church, Sahuaro Ranch, proud Veteran of the Army Air Corp in WWII and Korea, Computer/Electrical Engineer, played classical guitar and banjo, HAM operator K7HQR and AA7QJ, Golden Gloves boxer and sports enthusiast. Settling in Phoenix in 1962 when assigned to Luke AFB with GE, he remained in Phoenix to raise his family. After retiring from Honeywell Bob joined Motorola and also taught at Glendale Community College and UTI. Banjo Bob was a member of several bands and Audrey's Angels playing and singing for churches and retirement communities around the Phoenix area.

He has joined his wife of 66 years, Marion, in heaven's choir, his parents Ethridge and Elsie and oldest brother Charles.

He is survived by two sons, Randy Lee and Richard Dale, and his daughter, Robin Gail, and their spouses, 7 grandchildren including spouses and two great-grandchildren along with two brothers, Ray and Doyle in Texas. He will be forever loved.

Graveside Service will be held on Monday, May 18, 2015 at 9:30 AM at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona. In lieu of flowers, please contribute to any Veteran's organization.
