KB1Z Kenneth G. Burgess Old Saybrook, CT QCWA # 35919 Chapter 149

Grew up in Western New York State and moved to Old Saybrook CT in 1986. Continuously licensed since 1962, but less active for many years. Recently, school chum and ham K2EDW (Ed) and his radio club (Orleans County Amateur Radio Club) along with "Elmer Jim", KR9E, helped guide the shack in our little library. Net acquaintances assisted in learning PSK-31, RTTY, CW and stimulating antenna experiments.

Graduated Clarkson University and Rensselaer in engineering and business. Worked as an inventor and started several small (tiny) medical businesses. After business sale, worked at Boston University Med School on the Image Archive and Communications project, and was an adjunct ass't prof at BU Med school until early retirement in 2006.
