My first license was as WN4GXI in August 1967 and the QTH was Memphis, TN. I moved to the area around Kennedy Space Center in 1977 after graduating with a BSEE from Mississippi State University and began working on the Space Shuttle Program. My final position was the Engineering Specialist for the Orbiter Communications and Tracking System which ended in July 2011 with the last Space Shuttle flight.

I obtained KG4ZVW as a Technician in 2003, then Upgraded to General in 2004 and Extra in 2005. Active on ATV in Brevard County Florida with the Launch Information Service and Amateur Television System (LISATS). See http://www.lisats.org Also a member of Indian River Amateur Radio Club, ARRL, and the Brevard Emergency Amateur Radio Services Inc.(BEARS). I am active on 40, 20, 17, 15 and 10 meters mainly SSB and PSK31. Also on SSTV on 20 meters.
