The life of George Allan Collins (Desjardins) came to a peaceful end during his 88th year. George gave the gift of life to, and will be greatly missed by, his children Dave, Connie, Elise and Jeff, and his grandchildren Chris, Kevin, Cathy, Robin, Paul, Madeleine, Bridgette, and Olivia and great grandson Jacob. He will be lovingly remembered by his lifelong partner and wife, Jean Collins. George was a proud veteran of World War II. Private services and the celebration of the life of George will be held at McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home, 1411 Hunt Club Road, on Tuesday, June 14.
