Mack, Eleanor Georgina (Cork) November 8, 1916 . May 5, 2014
Eleanor passed away at Vancouver General Hospital at the age of 97. She was born and raised in Wainwright Alberta, the second daughter to Earl and Helen Cork and little sister to Edwina. After graduating from high school Eleanor went away to college and became a radio technician. She worked at Gander Newfoundland in air traffic control where she met Russell Mack. Russ and Eleanor were married October 16, 1944. Shortly after their marriage the couple moved to Vancouver B.C. They bought an electrical appliance store where they sold and repaired electrical equipment. They later started a very successful importing business they called Armaco Products and worked side by side until they retired.

Eleanor loved to paint. She was a talented artist, and photographer. She also played the piano and was a super Aunt to her only sister's five children. Eleanor was predeceased by her husband Russell Mack (1995), sister Edwina Harris (1998), brother-in-law Jack Harris (2001), and nephew-in-law John Copley (2010). She leaves to mourn her three nephews and two nieces; Jon Harris (Joanne), Eloise Tharp (Tom), Zelda Copley, Glen Harris (Kathy), Philip Harris (Donalda), and other family and close friends.

A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00pm on Saturday, May 24th at Ocean View Funeral Chapel, 4000 Imperial St, Burnaby.
