Meylert Armstrong McIntire passed away October 26, 1979 at the St. Johnland Home, Kings Park, NY. He was born September 6, 1896, in Indianapolis, Indiana, to John Calvin McIntire and Laura May Armstrong.
He enlisted in the U.S. Navy on June 11, 1918, at the Naval Recruiting Station in New York City at a rating of Ship's Cook 4TH Class. He was discharged from active duty on November 11, 1918, as a Yeoman 2ND Class (with an inactive release date of April 1, 1919, as a Yeoman 1ST Class).
He married Dorothy Elizabeth McConnell on August 11, 1921.
W2BO passed away on October 26, 1979, and was buried three days later in Green-Wood Cemetery, Brooklyn, NY.
