Operator Signup & Scheduling
QCWA members in good standing with a valid United States amateur license may request operating slots to activate the club call W2MM during the event period.
- Secure your slot: email activitiesmanager@qcwa.org with your name, call, time window (UTC), bands/modes, and QTH.
- Optional shared planner link (insert if available).
- Please coordinate to avoid same-band/mode overlaps.
Operator Guidelines
- Identify as W2MM and follow customary special-event operating practices and DX Code of Conduct.
- Operate near the published frequencies (+/- 10 kHz where conditions require). Keep digital modes in standard FT8/FT4 segments (no F/H).
- Spotting is encouraged; please include #QCWA and W2MM in comments when possible.
Log Submission (ADIF)
Stations activating W2MM must submit their ADIF logs by 23:59 UTC - December 21, 2025 (end of the third week of December) to enable certificate generation and confirmations.
- Email your ADIF attachment to activitiesmanager@qcwa.org.
- Name your file like CALLSIGN_W2MM_2025.adi.
- Ensure the operator and station_callsign=W2MM fields are correct.
If a shared upload portal is provided, add the link above. Email remains the authoritative intake method.
Commemorative Certificate
After the contest wraps up, operators and chasers will be able to obtain a certificate thanks to the continued volunteer service of Lou Maggio, NO2C. Details and the download link will be announced following log processing.
