I was first licensed in 1979 as KA4HWX, and currently hold an Extra Class License. I also held KA2JP, while stationed in Japan with the US Air Force.
Amateur Radio Operating Activities: DXCC; active DX chaser; HF contester; active in public service communications; and an early packet radio user; also enjoy BPSK 31 and RTTY.
You can usually find me chasing DX on 20, 18 or 21 mhz and the low Bands. I use a Yaesu FT-2000D and a 3 element tribander or the 40 and 80 meter dipole antennas.
The Kenwood TS-2000 is used to work 2 meter SSB and 6 meter operations, and as a second station on RTTY and PSK, if needed in contest.
I use LOTW. Please QSL direct or via the W3 QSL Bureau, if you need or want to send a card.
I am trying real hard to make the DXCC Honor Roll. I am just overr 300 confirmed.
I am the President of the Northwest Indiana DX Club. If you live in Northern Indiana and would like to be a member just email.
I am a Past ARRL Section Manager for Indiana.
Hope to work you on the bands.
