Raymond J. Riling Sr (W3OGY), of Philadelphia passed away on December 17th, 2010. He was 86.
Beloved father of Raymond, William, Susan Sauter and Janet Reed. Loving grandfather of Christopher, Jean, Caitlin, Brian, Dennis, Kevin, Eric, Anne, David and Dylan. He is also survived by his great-grandchildren Ceara Rae, Mackensie, Journey Lee, and Briannon. Mr. Riling was preceded in death by his wife Anne Healy, sons Robert and Richard, a grandson Mark, as well as his twin brother Joseph.
Ray was a proud American, a WWII US Army ETOUSA veteran, and a lifelong friend to Mt Airy.
In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia is appreciated.

I was sad to learn of the passing of my old friend Ray when I saw his call listed in QST. Ray was a great guy and fun to be around. I spent many enjoyable hours with him at his shop and when we had breakfast or lunch together. He was an inspiration to me when I was seeking promotion in my job and encouraged me to move forward every time we met starting around 1980. Unfortunately I lost touch after my retirement in 1999 and move to the SE US Ray will be remembered. 73, Tom WA2RUG
