Orginally licensed in 1972, I became an Extra just before the code requirement was phased out. Now, almost half of my contacts are CW. Also do a good amount of Digital operation in PSK31, RTTY and JT65-HF as well as WSJT-X. Mine is a "little pistol" operation running 100w to G5RVs, dipoles and Vertical antennas. In February 2012, finished 80m DXCC which closes out 5 Band DXCC for me. Currently, I have 290 countries confirmed.

Member of the Mecklenburg Amateur Radio Society and Carolina DX Association. I'm also a member of the operating committee for the NC QSO Party.
