Ronald Sylvester Banaszak, age 81, of DeMotte, IN passed away on Tuesday, December 29, 2015. He is survived by his wife, Reneta; daughter, Melissa (Jeff) Huckaby; sons, Michael (Elaine), Mark (Mary) and John (Deborah) Banaszak; grandchildren; sister, Roberta (John) Gleiter; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 2, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. from Kish Funeral Home 10000 Calumet Ave Munster, IN, with Reverend Charles Niblick, officiating. Visitation will be on Saturday, at the funeral home, from 10:00 a.m. until the 2:00 p.m. service.

Ron retired from Inland Steel. He served with the U.S. Army. Ron was the Past President, call sign W09P of Chapter 36 of the QCWA in Porter County. In lieu of flowers, contributions to Hospice of the Calumet Area in his memory would be appreciate.
