I took my Novice exam with a high school buddy when I was 16 years old. The Extra class ham giving us the exam was my Elmer and elementary school principal, W3XX.

Like many hams, I've established several repeaters in PA and VA. I've held a number of offices connected with the hobby including the first President/trustee/founder of the Western Tidewater Radio Association (WT4RA).
