QCWA QSO Party 2021 ResultsQCWA QSO Party 2021 Results Participation this year was down from last year, and scores were much lower than usual, perhaps reflecting poor conditions in addition to the low participation. There were four logs submitted in the Mixed category. Last year's first- and second-place winners swapped positions this time around. Mark K8ED (Chapter 215) ran away from the field with 47 QSOs and 2308 points. Buddy W4YE (Chapter 202) took second place with 19 QSOs and 407 points. Third place was taken by Bryan VE3QN operating under the Chapter 70 club callsign VE3QCW for 13 QSOs and 28 points, narrowly squeaking past Jan K1ND (Chapter 10) who had 1 fewer QSO and 2 fewer points than Bryan. Mike, K6ICS, operated once again this year as W2MM and improved on last year, with 30 QSOs in the log for 416 points. Riley K4ORD (Chapter 202) took first place in the CW/Digital category, with 496 points on 18 QSOs. Charles W4DCM (Chapter 202) took second place with 13 QSOs and 282 points, narrowly beating out Lou K4BYN, with 276 points on 11 QSOs. There were 12 CW entries this year, plus two operators putting W2MM on the air: Tom W1PDI (Chapter 1 with 23 QSOs for 644 points, and Jerry AC4BT (Chapter 91) with 18 QSOs and 468 points. In the Phone category, much to his own surprise Ken VE6AFO (Chapter 151) came first with only 14 QSOs and 154 points. Bill W2WCM came second with 13 QSOs and 117 points, and Chuck W7LBV (Chapter 108) took third place thanks to the 100 bonus points for his one QSO with W2MM. There were 8 logs submitted in the phone category. There was no W2MM station operating on single-mode phone. There were no entries in the QSONet (CQ-100) category. I'd like to take this opportunity to thank Bob Buus, W2OD, for his many years of service reviewing QSO Party logs and compiling the results. This is Bob's last year in this job, as he has asked to take a break from this activity. Complete results tables follow.
