FRED WAHLQUIST, 79 - of Cherry Hill and formerly a 42 year resident of Linwood, on July 31, 2006. Mr. Wahlquist was a Navy Veteran of WW II, a member of the Tompkins Lodge F&AM #471 of Staten Island, NY, Crescent Shrine Temple AAONMS of Trenton, Crescent Temple Legion of Honor, Atlantic County Shrine Club, Excelsior Scottish Rite Valley of New Jersey, Masonic Luncheon Club, Southern Counties Amateur Radio Association, NARFE and the Shore Mall Walkers. Fred was also a retired electronics technician for the FAA at N.A.F.E.C. in Pomona.
He is the beloved husband of Phyllis L. (nee Breimon) Wahlquist, loving father of Robert E. (Betsy) Wahlquist of Mount Laurel, and Susan B. (Mark) Gage of Morgantown of WV, dear grandfather of Elizabeth (Jason) Colian, Lauren Gage, Kristen Gage and Jacqueline Wahlquist, brother of William (Barbara) Wahlquist of MA and Harold (Susanne) Wahlquist of GA.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Fred's Life Celebration Thursday 10 - 11 am at Jeffries and Keates of Northfield, Tilton Road and Infield Avenue followed by his Funeral Service Thursday 11 am. Interment Atlantic County Veterans Cemetery, Estelle Manor.
