Jack H. Reynolds, 87, passed away March 24, 2013, at St. Vincent Hospice. He was born in Bedford, IN, on December 14, 1925. Jack attended Arsenal Technical High School, to then join the Army Air Forces in aircraft repair school. Upon discharge, he returned to Indianapolis to begin a career with RCA in the Quality Control Department, retiring in 1983 after 42 years of service. A skillful craftsman as well, he built three beautiful boats, a complete stereo system, and restored three private aircraft in his garage. Family members assisted, and enjoyed the rewards of flying, fishing, skiing, and many great camping trips to Kentucky Lake. After retirement, amateur radio became his favorite hobby, winning many contest certificates and world-wide friends as AA9BO. Jack was a charter member of Christ Community Church in Fishers. Jack was a devoted and loving father and husband of 65 years. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Neff Reynolds; son, Jerry Reynolds; daughter, Ruth Charles-Myers; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren; and many loving nieces and nephews. He will be fondly remembered, and deeply missed. Jack was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Ruth Frazier Reynolds; siblings, Charles Reynolds, William Reynolds and Virginia Brahany; son, David Reynolds; son-in-law, Robert Myers; and infant grandson, Dennis Reynolds. |
