.First licensed in 1978 while in High School w/ Novice class license after passing the 5 WPM code test and written test.
.Operated Tennessee Technological University Club Station 1979-1983 (Received BSEE Electrical Engineering)
.Received Extra class license in 1986 after passing the 20 WPM code test and written test.
.Enjoyed making casual QSOs to hams around the world which propelled me into chasing DX.
.Eventually received DXCC Honor Roll w/ 328 countries with the callsign N4GAK.
.Changed callsign from N4GAK to AC4G in 1996 under the newly-then-established vanity callsign system.

My primary ham radio interest:
.DXing on all HF bands operating mainly CW mode (my favorite operating mode)
.Operating 80m and 160m (Top Band).

.HS0ZKX (Thailand) via longpath after my sunrise Mid-January 2014, 80m CW
.VU7AG (Laccadive Islands) 80m QSO via longpath prior to my sunset.
