Roger W. Miller, 65, of San Jose, CA passed away on October 16, 2022. He was predeceased by his parents, Wilson A. Miller, Jr. and Anna (Stryjewski) Miller of Connecticut. He is survived by wife Nancy Cowell-Miller of San Jose, CA, and brother Norman W. Miller of Santee, SC, as well as many cousins.Roger earned a BS in Electrical Engineering from University of Connecticut (1978). He had a long, successful career in the Silicon Valley technology industry as a design and applications Engineer, specializing in high speed data and fiber optic communication. He worked for many leading technology companies, including Infineon, Semtech and Samtec. Roger was an avid Amateur (HAM) radio operator, and held the callsign AC6BW. Known for his passion for worldwide long distance (DX) radio communication, he was granted several operating awards. He attained a high ranking in the DX Century Club.Family and friends are invited to attend a Chapel Service Monday, October 24, 2022 at 1:00 P.M. at LIMA-CAMPAGNA-ALAMEDA MISSION CHAPEL, 600 S.
