QCWA#32628, SKCC#30, FISTS#12244, QRPARCI#12663, NAQCC#1089 First licensed, 1977, in Colorado as WD0DRL. I earned my Amateur Extra license during the last FCC administered Field Office exam held on 6 Aug 1984, in Golden, Colorado. Most of my contacts are on CW since returning to the air after 25 years away. I am now retired to a beautiful mountain valley in eastern Oregon and enjoying every moment of it. In 2011 I realized a dream of mine and began a new interest... Key making. My first attempt at making a CW key is a single lever paddle / sideswiper... what fun! Key number two, a long lever straight key, is completed now. I prefer Paper QSL cards, like to send them to new contacts, and always respond to a QSL card when I receive one direct.
