Dennis T. Spencer, 84, Cameron, Missouri died Sunday, December 14, 2014 at Missouri Veterans Home of Cameron.
He was born July 24, 1930 in Clarksdale, Missouri to Ralph and Hazel (Thornton) Spencer.
Dennis married Norma Lea Cohrs on August 18, 1956. She preceded him in death on March 31, 2014.
He was an over the road truck driver.
He enjoyed playing cards, spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his wife; parents; son; Alan, brother; Darrel Spencer, sisters; Marrion Schottel, and Marie Spencer.
Survivors: sons, Dennis W. Spencer, Clarksdale, Missouri and Steven L. Spencer, Clarksdale, Missouri; three grandchildren, Jami Bailey (Shane) and Kristin Kunzler (Blaine), Jacob Corkins; and great-grandchildren,Paige Kunzler, Sarah Spencer, Heather Bailey, Addison Kunzler, Michael and Patrick Bailey.
Healing Farewell: 10:00 A.M. Thursday, Central Christian Church. Interment Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will gather with friends 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Wednesday, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory. Flowers are appreciated and for those wishing to make a contribution, the family requests they be made to the American Cancer Society.
