Our Honorary Chairman Karl-Heinz Vogt, DL6YH died in the night of 02 November 2018 at the age of almost 93 years.
Karl-Heinz was from May 1972 - October 1988 1st Chairman of the VFDB.
To his departure from office, he was appointed by the VFDB General Assembly in Goslar (1988) honorary chairman of the VFDB.
DL6YH was often heard in the Z-rounds in earlier times. But his favorite pastime in amateur radio was telegraphy.
Since 2017, Karl Heinz lived in a senior residence.
Although confined to a wheelchair, he was still interested in music and technology. He was happy to receive news from amateur radio from his friends and acquaintances.
During his playing time Karl-Heinz did a lot for the VFDB and amateur radio.
We will always remember him.
