Am 1. August ist der ehemalige Vorsitzende des Distriktes Sachsen (S), Lothar Marx, DL9PM, im Alter von 81 Jahren in Dresden gestorben. Lothar, lizenziert seit 1958 als DM3YOG und spär als DM2CPM, war gemeinsam mit Ben, DL4ZM, damals DM3WFJ, der Grüder ersten Clubstation im damaligen Kreis Eilenburg. Im Frü 1962 wurde das Clubstationsrufzeichen DM4FM zugeteilt.
Lothar setzte von Anfang an als Clubstationsleiter seine ganze Kraft fü Entwicklung des Amateurfunks im damaligen Kreis Eilenburg und der Nachwuchsgewinnung ein.
Nach dem Üergang des Radiosportverbandes der DDR (RSV DDR e.V.) in den DARC e.V. wurde Lothar als OVV des Ortsverbandes Eilenburg (S36) gewät und hat in dieser Funktion seine ganze Kraft fü Neuanfang im DARC e.V. eingesetzt.
Von der ersten Distriktversammlung wurde Lothar zum stv. Distriktvorsitzenden von Sachsen gewät. Auch in dieser Funktion war er unermü fü Weiterentwicklung des Amateurfunks täg. Nach dem Ausscheiden von Eike Barthels wurde er im Jahr 1999 als Vorsitzender des Distriktes Sachsen gewät und beendete seine Tägkeit als Vorsitzender des OV Eilenburg (S36). In der Funktion als DV, die er bis 2007 ausühat er sich ebenfalls stets fü Interessen des Distriktes Sachsen und fü allgemeine Entwicklung des Amateurfunks im DARC e.V. eingebracht.
Fün unermües Wirken im und fü Amateurfunk wurde er mit der Goldenen Ehrennadel des DARC ausgezeichnet. Mit Beendigung seiner Tägkeit als DV in Sachsen im Jahr 2009 beteiligte er sich wieder verstät aktiv am Clubleben des OVs S36.
Nicht nur die OMs des OVs S36, sondern auch der Distriktsvorstand Sachsen und der DARC-Vorstand werden Lothar in bleibender Erinnerung behalten. Quelle: Bernd Heyer, DL4ZM

On 1 August, the former chairman of the district of Saxony (S), Lothar Marx, DL9PM, died at the age of 81 years in Dresden. Lothar, licensed since 1958 as DM3YOG and later as DM2CPM, was together with Ben, DL4ZM, then DM3WFJ, the founder of the first club station in the former district of Eilenburg. In spring 1962 the club station call sign DM4FM was assigned.
From the very beginning, Lothar, as a club station manager, put all his energy into the development of amateur radio in the former district of Eilenburg and the recruitment of new talent.
After the transition of the Radiosportverbandes of the GDR (RSV DDR e.V.) into the DARC e.V. Lothar was selected as OVV of the local federation Eilenburg (S36) and used in this function all his strength for the new beginning in the DARC e.V.
From the first district meeting Lothar became the stv. District chairman of Saxony elected. Also in this function he worked tirelessly for the advancement of the amateur radio. After the departure of Eike Barthels he was elected in 1999 as Chairman of the District of Saxony and ended his activities as Chairman of the OV Eilenburg (S36). In the role of DV, which he held until 2007, he has also always for the interests of the district of Saxony and for the general development of amateur radio in DARC e.V. introduced.
For his tireless work in and for amateur radio, he was awarded the Golden Badge of Honor of the DARC. With the termination of his activities as a DV in Saxony in 2009, he again participated actively in the club life of the OV S36.
