I2AV Alberto Avanzini Abbiategrasso, MILANO Italy QCWA # 36877

I started my ham experience licensing in late 1974. My main interest has been always cw, so I could earn HSC and other memberships related to telegraphy. Many years were used for dxing in spite of a heavy job career that has given me the opportunity to visit more than 100 countries in the world.

By growing the experience also the interest started to move to upper frequencies. In the 80's I was completely absorbed by 144 and upper qrg dx activity, from Meteor scatter to EME and contest activity at european level with other top operators.

From 1990 up today I had to slow down my activity due to work priorities. But now I am retired, I run a small activity as travel agent that can be a support for future dx expeditions and have started again to listen regularly to the bands on HF.
