W. Wayne Bare 62, 8102 Clay, Wichita, died at St. Joseph Hospital, Sept. 22, 1982. Funeral services were held at Pilgrim Congregational Church in Wichita, with burial at Douglass.
Bare was born near Douglass to Will and Abbie Faler Bare on May 31, 1920. He attended Douglass High School, Butler County Community College and American Business College at Wichita.
He married Norma Jean Thomas on Feb. 5, 1947. They had one daughter, Eileen. He was affiliated with Shelly Electric for many years.
Survivors include his wife Jean, of the home; daughter Eileen Naegele, Spring Valley, CA; granddaughter, Dominique Naegele; brother Dr. Edward F. Bare, Tarkio, MO; and a sister Lois Jernigan, Grandview, MO.
