Bill McGrannahan, KØORB and his 1960 shack (from left to right): The white square box is a Gonset Communicator for 6meter AM, while the rig behind the D-104 mic is a Heathkit Apache. On top of the speaker enclosure sits a Heathkit SWR meter. Angled toward the camera is a Hallicrafters SX-101, with a Collins KWM-1 on top of that receiver. The lower gray box is a Collins power supply and the upper one the companion speaker. Bill says, "I bought the Collins rig just in case that newfangled single sideband stuff turned out to be more than a fad!"
