Published: Saturday, Apr. 14, 2007, in The Nashua Telegraph William "Doc" Fleury, 68, of Nashua, died Thursday, April 12, 2007, at St. Joseph Hospital in Nashua. Mr. Fleury was born May 2, 1938, in Lowell, Mass., son of the late George E. and Josephine (Wojcukiewicz) Fleury. He was employed at Home Depot for several years before his retirement in 2005 due to his illness. Mr. Fleury was a lifetime member of the Tyngsborough Sportsman's Club, several local amateur radio clubs and was very well known in the HAM radio community. He served in the Marine Corps for eight years during the Vietnam War. Survivors include his companion, Tina Flynn of Nashua and her family, Jason and Tania Carter, and their children, Kabryn, Alex and Cole, all of Nashua, and Michael Carter and Lynne Rice of Billerica, Mass.; a brother, Douglas Fleury of Florida; and two sisters, Phyllis Howarth of Pepperell, Mass., and Beverly Roberge of Lowell, Mass. The Dumont-Sullivan Funeral Home in Nashua is in charge of arrangements. I enjoy working Special Event Stations, working Roundups, QSO parties and especially enjoy Field Day operating. I buy out estate sales and frequent Swap Nets and several Hamfest thru out the year. I hope to meet you at one of them someday. Other hobbies are,I love taking digital pictures around the various New England States during the summer and in the fall.
