ARLING, JOSEPH EDWIN 98, of King Philip Avenue passed away on July 18th. He was the husband of Isabelle (Wilkinson) Darling. He was the father of Lynne M. (Bruce) Morgan of SC and Joseph E. Darling (Javier Perez) of CA, grandfather of Gianna Haney, Erin Bibeau and Brian D'Alessandro and brother in law of May Darling. He was an electrical engineer at Kaiser Aluminum. He spent most of his time sailing the coast on his 33' sailboat "Cloud 9". At the age of 92, he sold his sailboat and spent the next five years traveling on his cabin cruiser "My Three Girls". He was a Mason and a member of Power Squadron for over 50 years. He was also an amateur radio operator with the call K1LQH. His funeral services are Friday July 24th, 9AM at the George Lima Funeral Home with a prayer service at 10AM. Burial will follow at North Burial Ground. Calling hours are Thursday July 23rd from 6-8.
