Diane Ortiz is an avid Amateur Radio operator and has operated from many contest stations in the United States including VP5GA and J3A. Some of the Amateur Radio Clubs and Organizations thatshe belongs to are:

  • Diane has won numerous awards including the 2000 ARRL Philip McGann award for excellence in Public Relations, and the ARRL Hudson Division "Grand Ole Ham" awardin 2010.

    Diane has attended two World Radiosport Team Championship events in Slovenia and Brazil with her OM George N2GA. These events are like the ham radio olympics, with the best operators from around the world competing on an even playing field. This fosters international goodwill and exemplifies the best in ham radio.
