K2LH Daniel K. 'Dan' Ford Peoria, AZ QCWA # 36595 Chapter 16

I was first licensed in Buffalo, NY in 1962 as a Technician/Novice with the callsigns WV2YNE/WA2YNE. I upgraded to General in 1963 and to Advanced in 1967. We moved to Arizona in 1978. I got a job transfer from Buffalo to Phoenix with the Telephone Company. I retired in 1992 from U S WEST as a Planning engineer. I upgraded to Extra in 2000. We also moved to Peoria in 2000.

In October 1994 I joined the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office Communications Posse as a Charter member. I served as the comander for two years. I retired from the posse in April 2005.

I am a member of the West Valley Amateur Radio Club in Sun City Arizona and have been a VE since 2013.
