Anthony Tony S. Gerchman, 94 of Susquehanna, PA passed away on Friday, November 27, 2020, at Barnes Kasson Hospital.
He was predeceased by his parents Anthony B. & Angela (Mesinik) Gerchman; and brothers Joseph, Thomas and Carl Gerchman.
Tony is survived by his loving wife of 59 years Evelyn (Potter) Gerchman; daughters Amy Young Cindy Gerchman Wood; grandchildren, Paul and Sara Young; sister Mary Gerchman; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Tony was a licensed radio operator from an early age. He was a member of the Merchant Marines; joining during WWII. Following his time in the merchant marines he owned a radio repair shop in Forest City, PA. Finally, he worked at RCA as technician until his retirement. Tony was member of the Freedom Masons in Thompson, PA where he became a Master Mason; traveling throughout PA. He was a lifetime member of the North Jackson United Methodist Church; where he was a lay speaker. Tony will be dearly missed by all of his loving family and friends.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions there will be no funeral services at this time. A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date.
