Maurice Samuel Brimer
April 29, 1924 - September 21, 2018

Maurice S. Brimer Sr went to be with his Heavenly Father in the late evening hours of September 21, 2018. He was preceded in death by his parents Ester Mae and John Francis Brimer; wife Nora Brimer; and his two sons Maurice Samuel Brimer II and David Richard Brimer.

Maurice was born in Cape Charles, Virginia on April 29, 1924. He went on to serve in the United States Army during World War II. After the military, He served as a senior auditor for the United States Postal Service until his retirement. For the last three years, Maurice was a popular resident of the nursing home, Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Virginia Beach, Virginia.

He is survived by his three grandchildren; Russell Burette Brimer, Nathaniel Bacon Brimer, and Rebecca Mae Brimer.

A graveside service will be held for Maurice at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens at 10:30am this Wednesday, September 26, 2018.
