Robert E. Blair Jr. born on August 3, 1917 in Mertens, TX and passed away on June 19, 2016 in Richardson, TX.
Preceded in death by parents, Robert and Daisy Blair; wife, Helen Blair of 49 years and wife Marjorie Blair of 25 years; brother, Earl G. Blair and son, James E. Blair.
Robert is survived by his son, Robert Emmett Blair III; daughter, Brenda Jean Blair Hall; grandson, Jeff Hall; grandchildren, Robin Hammond; Craig Wardlow; Gene Wardlow; Robert Emmett Blair IV; Mike Blair and Cindy Elliott and numerous loving great grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held Wednesday, June 29, 2016 at 11:00 AM in the Memorial Chapel at Restland Funeral Home.

Born 1917 near Hillsboro, TX. Grew up in Texas. Enlisted in U.S. Army in 1934 in 7th Cavalry when they still used horses. They sent me to signal school which started me on my life's work.
My further education was with Capitol Radio Engineering Institute and the University of Alabama. At various times I was employed by the FAA, Ralph M. parsons, Coleman Engineering, IT&T, Collins Radio Company, Dept of Defense (Redstone Arsenal) and the Air Branch of U.S. Customs. Retired in September 1979.
