Hello All! I obtained my Novice license in 1957 and received the station/operator call KN5POA. Amateur Radio has been a thrilling life-long hobby.

I prefer to operate CW but I also make an occasional 2-Meter FM contact. I like to operate 15-Meter SSB when the band is open.

My current rig is an Elecraft K2/100/KDSP2 transceiver, KAT100-1 ATU, and a ground-mounted Butternut HF6V/WARC vertical antenna. The vertical has 24, 30-foot radials buried approximately 6-inches. A Kenwood TS440S serves as a backup rig.

I love to operate CW. See you on the bands.
