Hi my name is Bob and I thank you for stopping In.

I am 73 years old and been a Ham since 1968. Over the years I have put together a nice but yet a Poor Boy Station, of different kind of radios. I have a Heathkits, Heathkit Amp. I have a Kenwood TS820 . These old Radios are thirty and fourty years old. on my72nd birthday I bought a modern up todate rig. I couldn´t afford a big rig so got a Yaesu FT 450at. I was a Tech-Plus for many yrs. In the state of Michigan. Then 14 yrs. ago we moved to South Louisiana. I have a real bad nerve problem and I couldn´t pass the General test . Finaly in 2002 After 30 yrs. with the suport of my lovely wife that sat at the table to quite me down ,she read a book while I wrote and passed the General Ticket. It sure has opened up so much more in the Radio world for us. I say US because a couple weeks later Debbie my wife passed her General and we are now K5COY = K5SHY.

This is a fine hobby for me as I have retired 14 years ago now on a Disabilty. I don´t get around very well in My Golden years but I take a trip everyday on the Radio.

We live in Norwood, Louisiana a village where we have one blinking light. If you get a chance to come visit US.

(WE WILL LEAVE THE LIGHT ON).

I Thank all you fellow Hams that have responded to my Call over the years. K5SHY saying 73´s Till I meet you agian down the LOGG
