Obituary: William Ralph Brown, of Wylie, Texas, passed away on October 9, 2020, in Richardson, Texas. Ralph was born to the late William Broughton and Cordie Brown in Wills Point, Texas, on April 20, 1942. Ralph married his beloved wife Shirley in Garland on February 22, 1985. He worked for the City of Garland Telecommunications Divisions for 33.5 years, retiring in 2002. Prior to the City of Garland he worked for T.E.A.D.-Dallas (Texas Education Agency). Ralph was also a member of the Garland Emergency Corp for 50 years and a part of the Garland RACES (Radio Amateur Civil Emergency Service Club). He enjoyed genealogy, races, Ham Radio and storm spotting. To cherish his memories, he leaves behind his wife, Shirley of Wylie, Texas; son, Lemmie and wife Glenda Duncan of Dallas, Texas; daughters, Liesl and husband Larry Like of Sachse, Texas and Lauryl Duncan of Wylie, Texas; grandchildren Amanda Field and Bryan Like and great-grandson Mason Like. Ralph is preceded in death by his parents, Broughton and Cordie Brown; sisters, Sharon and Shirley Brown; uncles, Wilburn, Henry and Edgar Brown; aunts, Mary and Beulah Brown. Family will be receiving guests Tuesday, October 13, 2020 at 10 a.m. at Allan Fuller Funeral. Funeral services will follow at 11 a.m. at Allan Fuller Funeral Home.
