K6GLB Theodore R. 'Dick' Clark Peoria, AZ QCWA # 34273 Chapters 16 and 154

Raised in Alberta, my first interest in ham radio developed from a friend of my father's VE6LX whose rig filled his basement and eventually took out all the TV sets in a mile radius. That shut him down. I have lived in the So Cal since 1949 and now AZ.

I originally received my novice while in high school living in Santa Monica, CA 1954 and was active mostly on 2 mtrs with a Gonset Communicator. I later upgraded to tech then general about 1962. I finally upgraded to Extra in 2008. Living in a radio/antenna restricted community, HF is limited but I am working on it otherwise its VHF.

We summer in Gig Harbor, WA.
