Robert Brown Jr. K6RLT, 1924 to 2016Robert Brown Jr., 92 Cedar City, Utah passed away peacefully at home on 12/29/2016.Robert was born December 8, 1924 in Bard, California to Robert and Ventura Brown. He grew up in Winterhaven, California and Yuma, Arizona.Robert was most proud of being a Navy veteran and served in WWII as a radio man. He was stationed on the island of Okinawa.He later moved to Santa Paula, California where he married and later divorced.He has 5 Children: Deidra S. (Walt) Sypniewicz, Kenneth G. "Jerry" Brown, Carolyn (Dale Gleave) Langstaff, Barbara G. (Robert) Hensell, James D. Brown. He was blessed with many siblings: Dora Rodriguez, Anita Seitz, Dolores Mathews, Mary Louise McGivern, Margaret Davalos, Vivian Magallanes, and Stanley R. Brown.Dad's lifelong passion was Ham Radio and 2 and 10 meter radio. He talked to people all over the world under the call sign K6RLT. He was a member of the Color Country radio club as well.His other passions were hunting and mostly fishing. He also loved woodworking and puttering in his yard. Robert is preceded in death by his parents, his brother Stanley, his sister Dora, and his son Kenneth "Jerry".He also was blessed with many grandkids, great grandkids, great great grandkids, nieces and nephews to name.But he loved them all.We love you Dad - Rest in Peace.
