Donald passed into the hand of the Lord this Sunday, June 10, 2012, surrounded by his family.
Donald was born in 1926, in Alma Center, Wisconsin.
He joined the Navy in 1944, and was assigned to the Pasco Naval Air Station.
At a dance at the USO in Volunteer Park, he met his future wife of 57 years, Irma Rodkey.
Don and Irma returned to Pasco after he was discharged, and together they ran Pasco Machine Company for over 40 years before retiring.
Irma preceded him to the hands of the Lord.
Donald then married Alma Jones (Wade). They had too few years together before she likewise went to be with the Lord.
Donald was fond of working, and was often giving items he made to friends and family as gifts. Donald was active in the local Shrine Club, becoming club President in 1972.
Donald is survived by his daughter, Kathey Erickson, sons Randy Erickson, Kevin Erickson and Kevin's wife Celie, and extended family and friends.
Services will be held on June 14, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at Richland Baptist Church at 1632 George Washington Way, followed by a graveside service at City View Cemetery on Oregon Avenue in Pasco.
