Alexander was born on January 7, 1952 and passed away on Wednesday, September 18, 2019. Alexander Paul Lapinski, age 67, of Hudson, passed away Wednesday, September 18, 2019. Al was born on January 7, 1952, the son of Edmund and Alice (Boyle) Lapinski. Al worked his way to become a master electrician after receiving his college degree from the University of Wisconsin Superior. Al proudly served in the United States Army for 28 years, worked his way up the ranks, and retired as a Lieutenant Colonel. Al's military and civilian careers were both aspects of his life that greatly influenced his strong work ethic and his loyalty to his family and loved ones.

Al was a proud Green Bay Packers fan, who made more than a few trips to Lambeau Field. He was also a skilled outdoorsman, who spent many nights under the stars camping. His love of sailing and traveling were well known to his family and friends as well. He also loved to spend every moment he could with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Al will always be remembered by his wife, Colleen; children, Carrie (Darren) Krueger, Jamie (Shane) Madrinich, Daniel (Lindsay) Lapinski, Megan (Terry Jarvis Jr.) Lapinski; grandchildren, Zyanya Arce, Madisyn Krueger, Adryana Krueger, Taylor Madrinich, Zachary Madrinich, Azariah Lapinski, Keziah Lapinski, Jasper Lapinski, Hadassah Lapinski, Tobiah Lapinski, Onyx Lapinski; Siblings, Patrick Lapinski, Phillip (Mary) Lapinski and Joanne Bennett.

A Celebration of Al's life will be held from 1-5 PM on Sunday, September 22, 2019 at the family.s residence.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the discretion of the family.
