KAØNCR Arnold D. 'Arnie' Grubbs Fremont, NE QCWA # 34418

Hi, Arnie - KAØNCR here. I am the one in the middle of the 3 bikers in my qrz photo. The one on the left is KFØMS - Steve, and on the right is NFØN- Mike. My interests include ham radio ( of course! ) recumbent bicycle riding, computers and electronics, and high power rifle shooting..

I enjoy building electronic kits, including several Elecraft kits and other QRP radios.

I have 4 recumbent bikes - a yellow Lightning Phantom (in the picture) a Green Burly Limbo long wheelbase bike which don't see much use anymore. a red/grey Sun EZ-sport CX long wheelbase bike, and a Red ICE QNT Trike. I also have a silver Giant Cypris DX 'hybrid' bike.

My list of some of my RF generating devices includes an Elecraft K3, KX3, K2-10 and K2-100, a K-1 and KX-1. As you can see I am a fan of Elecraft radios! My dad says I collect them... but I don't see it that way!

I also have FT-817, IC-703+ and several kits, including BiTx20A, BiTX17a, MKARS-80 and some other odds and ends. I am interested in QRSS MEPT's and RX.

I try to combine several of my interests, by putting ham radio on my bike. I am a member of the BMHA group. (Bike Mobile Hams of America), the Midwest Homebrewers and QRP group, and QRPARCI.

Hope you catch you out on the road for a QSO!

73 - Arnie
