I've been a ham since 1978. I'm a retired clinical microbiologist and emeritus professor of medical laboratory science. I have a modest station and don't use a computer in conjunction with radio. I especially like the traditional nature and challenge of SK CW. In addition to being a ham op, I'm an artisan blacksmith pursuing forged ironwork and metal sculpture, an avid motorcycle/scooter jockey, and cat wrangler.
