First licensed in 1963 at 15 years of age as a Novice with the callsign WN5FKB (Mississippi). Earned WAS and WAC as a Novice and upgraded to General Class in 1964. With many moves held the calls WA0HPC (Nebraska), KR6HP (Okinawa), WA6CKS (San Bernardino), WA4IWZ (Virginia), and WB6LOJ (San Diego) . Earned Advanced Class privileges in 1976 with the callsign KD6YJ. Have always preferred a good antenna over high power. With the days of towers, beams and QSL card chasing gone by, I now enjoy the simpler life ragchewing on 80, 40 and 20 meters only occasionally chasing a little late night DX. Rig is classic Icom 735 and various "patio" and portable antennas.
