Ralph Davis Ward, age 65 of Chattanooga, passed away Saturday, April 13, 2013 in a local hospital.

He was employed by the Tennessee Protection Services as a police officer. He was a member of Galilee Missionary Baptist Church. He was also a member of Prince Hall Masons, Hyksos Temple No. 123 and Prince Hall Shriners.

He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents and an aunt.

Survivors include his wife, Beverly A. Ward; sons, Ornett Ward of Los Angeles, CA and AntonéTisha) Ward of Chattanooga; daughter, Yashika Ward of Chattanooga; one grandchild; brother, William H. Ward of Chattanooga; nephews, Eric Ward and Joseph Ward; cousins; other relatives and friends.

Visitation is today from 7-8 p.m., at Taylor Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m., at Galilee Missionary Baptist Church, with Pastor Eddie Jacks as the eulogist. Burial Lakewood Memory Gardens, East.
