Pegram - Warren L. Bone departed earth on June 3, 2019, after a long battle with emphysema. He was born on May 18, 1944, to Lester and Dorothy Bone, in Nashville, TN, and grew up in Columbia, TN.
Prior to college, Warren served in the US Marine Corp for 3 years and was in the 3rd Marine Div, Viet Nam 1965-66 in the 3rd Anti-Tank BTN. War was hell, and the PTSD and survivors' guilt never-ending.
He had his BS and MBA and a long career in IT working for Electronic Data Systems Corp, NLT Computer Services and Gaylord. After retiring from the IT business, he worked at Lowe's in tool world which was more fun than the IT world.
He was a ham radio operator, loved music and played piano, guitar and bass. He played in the Fairlanes rock and roll band in high school, in the 80s played with the Establishment big band orchestra, and for many years played bluegrass music with his friend, Clark Bennett.
He is survived by his wife, Debbie, his beloved dog, Frannie, siblings - Sharon (Bob) Wills, Charlotte Alderson, Wayne (Melinda) Bone and Judy (Woody) Pettigrew, along with numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and Debbie's family.
He was predeceased by his parents and sister, Shirley Edwards, and beloved dogs Skipper, Bear and Tara. Per his request, he was cremated and there was no service.
He has finally found peace.
