Previous call signs NØSUO, WZØN. I'm retired, enjoy volunteer work, reading, (mainly SF) woodworking, music, astronomy and time at the family lake cottage.. I enjoy ragchewing, some contesting and operate HF mobile. My radios are: ICOM IC 7100 for portable operation, FT857 in the mobile. I have a TEN-TEC OMNI VII radio. My amplifier is a Ameritron AL 80B, with a Palstar AT2K Tuner. On Bands 80M & up. For UHF/VHF, I have an Icom 2820H at home and a Icom 5100 in the truck. I'm part owner of our local D-Star repeater. I just bought a TYT MD-380, so am DMR active now. Will QSL all... I'm an ARRL Diamond club member and a active VE. I now have completed 130+ VE sessions. Photos of my mobile HF setup... My R-POD RV is set up for HF. Fun from campsites! I'm A member of the "Riverbend Wireless and Mechanical Society" which was started in March of 2014. I have been a Ham since June 1992.

Greetings to all veterans, especially those have have seen combat. I served 1959-1963 active duty USN. I was a Electricians mate 2nd class (E5) on discharge.

The call I now have was issued to Earl Cottingham Jr orginally. Mr Cottingham was born in 1923 in Kan., served in the Marines in WW2 and also served in Korean war. He was a police officer in Pueblo Co. active in the local radio club and Boy Scouts. He became a SK in 2001. His Wife also a ham became a SK in 2004.
