He was born Nov. 10, 1908, in Vernon County (Viroqua), Wisc., to Wendell and Hilda (Elbin) Morgan. After serving as an apprentice in the newspaper business in Wisconsin, he owned and operated the Remer Star in Remer, MN until 1955. He also worked for the Minnesota Society for the Blind for 25 years. He was preceded in death by long-time friend, Alvina Reinkert, and two sisters. Memorial services were held Friday, July 9, at Gearty-Delmore Park Chapel in St. Louis Park, Minn. Private burial was at Walnut Mound Cemetery in Retreat, Wisc. The Gearty-Delmore Funeral Chapel handled arrangements.
