William P. Paschen, Jr of Brighton, Colorado passed away May 15, 2022 in Brighton. He was born July 13, 1929 in Salisbury, Missouri to William P.,Sr and Gladys Lamont (Allnutt) Paschen. William attended 3 and half years in high school in Clifton Hills, Missouri graduating in Chillicothe, Missouri. He attended the Central Technical Institute in Kansas City, Missouri prior to serving in the United States Army during the Korean War. William married Maryanne Evelyn Secrest on November 8, 1957 in Waterloo, Iowa. They eventually moved to Sugar Grove, Illinois where they raised their family before making their final move to Longmont, Colorado in 1988. William had many interests and desires which he fulfilled during his life. He worked on the Railroad Signal Corp, radio and television stations, piloted private planes and took a job with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) retiring in December of 1987. He was a long-time member of several Baptist churches and belonged to many organizations including Boulder Amateur Radio Club, Longmont Astronomical Society, Amateur Radio Relay League, and Boulder County Amateur Radio Emergency Services. William enjoyed amateur radio, astronomy and figure skating. However, his true love was spending time with his family. William is preceded in death by his loving wife Maryanne, grandson Griffin Paschen and his parents. He is survived by his daughter Diane Paschen of Naples, FL; sons Dean (Julie) Paschen of Superior, CO, Stephen Paschen of Rochelle, IL and Ron Paschen of Brighton, CO; brother Robert Paschen of Sedalia, MO; grandchildren Kolby Paschen, Jordan Paschen and Autumn Paschen. William will be missed by all who knew and loved him. |
