Richard was born on November 14, 1936 in Salisbury, NC to the late Richard and Evelyn Faust. Richard received his BS in Physics from Lafayette College and his MA from the University of Maryland with a specialization in Sociology and Psychology. He then went on to meet his soul mate Ann Baker; they were married in February 1962 after he completed his active duty obligation in MD National Guard. He was a Human Factors Engineer at RCA and other companies. He was an active member of the South Jersey Radio Association and a member of the Haddonfield United Methodist Church for over 40 years. Richard was beloved by his family and friends, he had many accomplishments during his life; he will be missed most for his kind and compassionate nature.
Richard is survived by his beloved wife of 59 years, Ann Faust; his son, Richard A. Faust, III and his wife Brenda; grandchildren, Hannah and Daniel Faust and his daughter, Karen Stryeski and her husband William Coats Stryeski.
