Kent A. Badger, 86, of Buffalo Township, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 26, 2021, at his home, surrounded by his family. Kent was born in Butler, a son of the late Raymond A. and Mary Beulah (Weaver) Badger, and had lived in Buffalo Township since 1966. Before his retirement, Kent was the director of photography for the Pittsburgh Press for 27 years, and honorably served in the Air Force. Kent was a member of Guardian Angels Parish, Most Blessed Sacrament Church, Natrona Heights, and he graduated from Butler High School in 1952 and Penn State University in 1957. He was a ham radio enthusiast N3KB, and he especially enjoyed spending time with his family, children and grandchildren. Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Barbara L. (McHenry) Badger; and his children, Amy (Craig) Witenski, of Winfield Township, Matthew (Angela) Badger, of Mars, and Mary Rae (Ryan) O'Toole, of Fox Chapel. Also surviving are 13 grandchildren and two great-granddaughters.
