Greetings!
I moved into this QTH late April, 2001. Enjoying greatly increased HF and VHF/UHF activity now that I can put up some antennas. This location is in North Central Maryland, about 25 miles West of Baltimore.
Callbook has the wrong County - I am in CARROLL County, not Frederick County! There are 4 counties which all have a border near my QTH, so it is easy to get the wrong one just by going by city or zip code.
As of May 2009, this is what makes up my shack:
HF: Yaesu FT-1000D (out for repair), Yaesu FT-990 (dedicated to Navy-Marine Corps MARS), Icom IC-756ProII (also out for repair), Icom IC-756 Pro III (now main radio), Alpha 99, Collins 30L-1 (currently retired), Ameritron ATR-30 Tuner, KAM Plus.
VHF/UHF: Yaesu FT-1500 for packet, TM-D700 for VHF/UHF FM voice and APRS.
Antennas: 60' Rohn Self Supporting tower with a Diamond X-300 2m/70cm vertical, Cushcraft 11 el 70cm beam, Cushcraft 10 el 2m beam, Cushcraft X-7 Tribander beam. Also supports a B&W BWD-90 for mostly for low band Ham and MARS work. A Diamond X-50 2m/70cm Vertical and an Alpha-Delta multiband dipole are supported by the house.
Thanks for stopping by, and please QSL!
73,
Mark
