Harvey Buford Bud Warren age 95 of Decatur, GA passed away August 13, 2022. Bud was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and great-great grandfather who will be greatly missed. A proud veteran of the U.S. Navy, Bud was a graduate of the University of Georgia and worked in banking until his retirement. Bud was a member of Briarlake Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Marie Warren; daughter, Laura Neas; son and daughter in law, John Joseph (Linda) Warren; grandchildren, Jennifer McClure, John Charles Trey Neas III, Kristen Neas, Amanda Odon and Sarah Kumwesiga; 5 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren; several step children & step grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held Wednesday, August 17, 2022 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Larry Sullivan officiating. Interment will be in Mitchell Baptist Church Cemetery, Mitchell, Georgia on Wednesday, August 17, 2022 at 3:00 PM. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 16, 2022 from 6-8 PM at the funeral home. In Lieu of flowers, please make donations to Visiting Nurse Health System, 5775 Glenridge Drive, Suite E200, Atlanta. GA 30328 in memory of Bud Warren. A.S. Turner and Sons Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
